Thanks and I believe you're right. Unfortunately, Paso Robles, despite the 2003 San Simeon Quake and all the harm it caused this community still does not have a CERT Team.It is hoped my CERT class will be the foundation upon which a near-future CERT Team will be built upon. Unfortunately, internal city politics and over-concern about litigation has perpetually befuddled attempts to create such a team for years. Hopefully, this current attempt will bare fruit.

I think you will find the training helpful, and it is a valuable resource to draw upon even when not in "Disaster Mode"
Everybody that gets the training is better prepared to handle what comes our way, and being a CERT Member is an excellent promotional tool to engage the public in implementing their own personal preparedness.
