info concering wildlandfire yesterday 

Yesterday we experienced a high level of activity in Region V.  As most of you are aware, Wildlandfire.com is in the process of building a new website and moving all servers to more of a Enterprise solution, so yesterdays slowdown will not occur.
 
This is all part of Wildlandfire.com transition of ownership.  To despell any rumors, the website is not going to change drastically, or even have sections removed.  The main difference you will notice is speed, function, tools, and a much more positive user interface.
 
Fire Season hit unexpectedly, and as I am sure most of you are in the same boat, we are ramping up on our efforts to support the Fire Service.  On a side note, I am sitting at the So Cal Fire Warden and Foreseters 83rd Annual Safety Conference, and the winds are blowing like it is October.

update - fire is expect to run all the way to the ocean - sycamor canyon is on fire ,  broom ranch is where the transmission lines are
and air craft is trying to protect that area, structure protection is happpening all over.. , about 1/2 hour ago the fire least part of it
was south of orchard, in the los vientos area..

some apartment building are on fire in the channel islands  per scanner

also new fire in the paso robles area,, per wlf  and scanner

its back up now i had the same trouble little while ago and the fire has mulitple heads now , someone on scm
socalmountains.com is reporting from his home near this fire ..  ffs are having trouble with spotting issues from talk on wlf

Is radio reference still down for the live scanner?

DJ Tom Enterprises, We play for weddings, birthdays, corporate parties, pretty much for any event . I have top notch equipment with music from the big bands to today's music.

Santa Ana Wind-whipped wildfire near the Conejo Grade between Thousand Oaks and Ventura on the margins of the Ventura Basin near a mobile home park. Currently at nearly 100 acres with many resources en route.
