This one may have a good ending after all... 80% contained and enough resources on scene... still continued problems with residents not evacuating or being in the way of firefighters... this is the most I have ever heard on the radio of such problems with any fire... does anyone here know if this is a white trash tweaker area?

A wildfire is raging out of control in the Palermo area of the Northern Sierra Foothills of Butte County with power lines down. The fire is in initial attack mode with a life hazard element as this is a nasty wildland interface zone.
.
Emergency evacuations are in progress but there are numerous reports over the radio of residents refusing to leave their homes.Structure protection and evacs are the primary focus and it appears this will go into extended attack mode soon and given the weather and the area this stands a good chance of becoming a major fire incident.
