[californiadisasters] Red Flag Warning - Southern Sierra (6/30/13-AM)

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF LOW HUMIDITIES FOR THE KERN AND TULARE COUNTY MOUNTAINS... * AFFECTED AREA...THE SEQUOIA FOREST PORTION OF FIRE WEATHER ZONE 295 KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND FIRE WEATHER ZONE 297 TULARE COUNTY MOUNTAINS. * TIMING...HUMIDITIES WILL REMAIN LOW TODAY. SOME RECOVERIES ARE EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT...BUT HUMIDITY DURATIONS AT OR BELOW 10 PERCENT WILL BE NEAR 10 HOURS. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5-10 PERCENT DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS WITH POOR OVERNIGHT RECOVERY. * LIGHTNING...NONE. * IMPACTS...VERY LOW HUMIDITIES COMBINED WITH CRITICALLY DRY FUELS WILL RESULT IN INCREASED FIRE DANGER. IF FIRE IGNITION OCCURS THERE COULD BE RAPID SPREAD OF WILDFIRE THAT WOULD LEAD TO A THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND WARM TEMPERATURES CAN CONTRIBUTE TO EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR. PLEASE ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS OR FIRE CREWS IN THE FIELD OF THIS RED FLAG WARNING.
