06/23	1900	Carstens, Fire, CA-SNF-1216/CA-MMU-009840, Midpines, Mariposa County Carstens Road near State Route 140 1,708 acres 90% contained.   Hathaway Fire CA-BDF- 8526 Vegetation, Northeast of Banning, Riverside County. USFS-San Bernardino N.F.   3,825 acres, 95% contained.
06/23	0730	Please plan to observe a moment of reflection at 1300 hours  today in honor of Luke Sheehy who died in the line of duty. On June 10, 2013, smokejumper Luke Sheehy lost his life while suppressing the Saddleback fire on the Modoc National Forest.
06/23	0730	Carstens, Fire, CA-SNF-1216/CA-MMU-009840, Midpines, Mariposa County Carstens Road near State Route 140 1,708 acres 90% contained. Fire has transitioned to a Type 3 organization today at 0600. Hathaway Fire CA-BDF- 8526 Vegetation, Northeast of Banning, Riverside County. USFS-San Bernardino N.F.   3,825 acres, 85% contained.
