0.80" of rain fell in Palm Springs, the greatest daily rainfall amount on record for June.
1972: It was 99° in Palomar Mountain, the highest temperature on record for June.
This also occurred the previous day on 6.29.
1891: Fresno set an all-time record high for June, 112° (tied on June 25, 1925).
