NORTHWESTERN TULARE COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA... * UNTIL 115 PM PST * AT 1236 PM PST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 7 MILES SOUTH OF DINUBA...OR 9 MILES NORTHWEST OF VISALIA...AND MOVING NORTH AT 45 MPH. * THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS NORTH OF GOSHEN MOVING TOWARDS DINUBA REEDLY AND ORANGE COVE AREAS WITHIN THE NEXT 45 MINUTES. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... DOPPLER RADAR HAS INDICATED SOME WEAK ROTATION WITHIN THIS STORM. WHILE NOT IMMEDIATELY LIKELY...A TORNADO MAY STILL DEVELOP. IF A TORNADO IS SPOTTED...ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
