Merced Grove of Giant Sequoias within Yosemite National Park is threatened. Heavy dependence on Type 1 Hand Crews and aviation assets due to steep and remote terrain.

Yosemite Creek Trail and Yosemite Creek Campgrounds are closed.

Fire burning in light willow and woodland in riverbed and surrounding areas. Current potential threat to Hatfield State Park, local agricultural, and several gun clubs.
