BIG BEAR LAKE: USGS reports pair of quakes hit region

A pair of earthquakes were felt across the Inland region the morning of Saturday, July 5.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey's website two earthquakes hit 10 and 11 kilometers west northwest of Big Bear Lake at 9:59 and 10 a.m. The earlier quake was a magnitude 4.6, the later a 4.4.
The shaking was felt from Redlands to Jurupa Valley to Temecula.
