Saturday, March 14 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm
Tickets will be sold at the door starting an hour before show time: $7 adults, $5 students, $3 Thespians and children under 10.
WING SQUAD: There will be a meeting today in H107 regarding upcoming events. Be there or be square!
MDA: Attention staff and students, VVHS DECA and Senate have teamed up in an effort to send a student with muscular dystrophy to summer camp. As a school our goal is to raise $800. This $800 will send one deserving student with muscular dystrophy to camp this summer. Please help us reach our goal by purchasing a shamrock during lunch. Shamrocks are only $1 and with just $1 you are helping to make a difference! Thank you!
HOMELESS NEEDS: Be a great hawk and donate to Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless. Please drop off socks, blankets, hats, scarves, gloves, lip balm , sunscreen, toiletries, art supplies, and healthcare items in F206 by April 30th.
Attention all Volcano Vista students and staff: Our school is participating in the Read to Me Book Drive and we need your book donations! If you have any children or young adult books that you just don't need any more, come see Ms. Duran in room H107 during lunch or after school to make donations!
Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is joining Wing Squad in the school-wide book drive, but with a twist :
Donate Spanish or Bilingual children's books through your Spanish class! Teacher who collects the most books by March 18 will receive 8 pizzas at lunch on March 24th! Books will be distributed to organizations across Albuquerque who serve children in need. ¡Vayamos los halcones!
ATTENTION VVHS Bowling Team members - this is a reminder that the season end celebration and awards is this Saturday at 12:00 noon at the Village Pizza in Corrales. Only cost is what you order in food. Guests are also welcomed - so bring your close friends and family. Again all bowlers come to the season end awards on Saturday.

Seniors there is still time to apply for scholarships! Go visit the college and career center during lunch, E224 and look at the scholarships available.
Juniors there will be a Free Practice ACT on Saturday March 21st from 8 to 12 here at VV. Registration is online at www.bit.ly/vvhs3-21, the deadline to register is Monday, March 16th, please see your academy counselor for more information.
The University of New Mexico will host the 3rd annual Meet UNM Day, Saturday, March 21 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in learning more about what UNM has to offer. Information on Financial Aid, Student Life, Residence Life & Student Housing, Health Sciences, Engineering, Fine Arts, Architecture, Honors College as well as student-led campus tours and housing tours will be presented. ATHLETICS
GOLF: Congratulations to the boys Golf Team who finished 2nd in the Los Altos Invite yesterday. Also congratulations to Steven Elwell who also earned his third leg and a trip to the State Golf Tournament in May. The Boys and Girls Golf teams play again on Monday at the Arroyo Del Oso tournament. Good Luck Hawks!
BASEBALL: Will play here on Saturday against the Bulldogs at 10am..
SOFTBALL: will play in the Las Cruces tournament this weekend
TENNIS: The girl's tennis team will host Sandia Prep today at our school courts.
TRACK: JV has a meet at Wilson on Friday at 4:00 and Varsity has the Cleveland Kickoff meet Saturday at Cleveland starting at 8am.
