Rough, CA-SNF-001746, Fresno County, Update
2.5 miles to the southwest of Spanish Mountain bordering the Monarch Wilderness.

The fire is joint delegation with Sequoia National Forest and Sierra National Forest.
Houseman's NIMO team is assisting Cooper's Type 2 Incident Management team.

Patrol and hold confinement line.
Goldent Trout Wilderness Area still remains threatened.
MIST tactics are being used in all operational periods.
Smoke impacts are of concern and likely to effect communities adjacent
to the incident.

An excessive heat watch remains in effect from Friday afternoon Through Sunday evening.
Temperature afternoon maximum temperatures will reach 104 to
108 degrees for many valley locations and lower mountain elevations across
Los Angeles and Ventura counties, San Bernardino County Mountains, Riverside County Mountains,
and San Diego County Mountains each  afternoon and early evening Friday.
Saturday and Sunday.  It will remain quite warm across the Antelope Valley as well butremain below excessive heat watch criteria.
