  • Structures are threatened
  • Evacuation in progress
  • Heading towards tree mortality area

Pine Fire, CA-LPF-001986, Wildland Fire, Ventura County, Update
San Guillermo Mountains 11 miles north of Ojai in the Sespe wilderness
CS  IMT2 (Mills) in command
FRA

  • 300 acres, 0% Contained
  • Threat to Camp Scheideck community and nearby residence and ranches.
  • Fire will continue to burn to the northeast
  • Federal Ground/Air Resources committed

Erskine Fire, CA-CND-001415, Vegetation, Kern County, Update
Erskine Creek Rd x Apollo Way near Lake Isabella
CA IMT1 (Minton) in command
Unified command with USFS, BLM, and Kern County Fire

  • Closeout will be at Bakersfield BLM office on July 3, 2016 at 1000 hrs.
  • 47864 Acres, 80% Contained  
  • Commitment of Forest Service air and ground resources

Marina Fire, CA-INF-000992, Vegetation, Mono County, Update
1 Mile NW of Lee Vining
Type 3 organization (Ellison) in command
FRA/SRA

  • 654 Acres, 95% Contained
  • Expected thunderstorms Potential for debris and mud flow from predicted thunderstorm outflow and wetting rain
  • 209 will be once a day at 1800 hrs
  • Commitment of Forest Service air and ground resources

Sherpa Fire, CA-LPF-001643, Vegetation, Santa Barbara County, Update
11 miles north of Goleta, Camino Cielo Ridge
Type 4 IC (Berry) in command
FRA   

  • 7,474 acres, 96% Contained
  • El Capitan State Beach will remain closed at least through 07/15/2016
  • Unless conditions change this will be the last report
