I should add that, up to that point, the fixed-wings had been grounded
and things were looking exceedingly grim. The arrival of the VLAT and
subsequent drops by the other fixed-wings made a world of difference on
Saturday. That was the sound of the cavalry 8*)

Got to watch it all play out again on Sunday, from even closer quarters
8*( Nice to be under blue sky again...
