One death now reported. Also, gridlock trying to evacuate on Highway 150. Cars not moving and backed up for miles to Ventura. These are worst case scenarios coming to life.
We had a tough early October with fires, then absolutely nothing the rest of the month and all of November. December is making up for November.

#ThomasFire has very long-range spotted downwind to Grant Park. 4 Type-1 strike teams ordered up as first-in engine has been forced to retreat from mid-slope road. 50 acres bearing down on a neighborhood. No ability to go direct on this fire.

All I can say is...Not again. Please. Sure hope that a miracle comes by and steers that wind down the uninhabited bits!!
Best wishes to all down that way....
