Rogers and Hammerstein's THE KING AND I.
A musical based on historical fact recounting the tale of Mrs. Anna Leonowens who was an English woman who taught the children of the King of Siam in the 1860's and helped the King move into the modern era without losing his kingdom.
This musical is filled with wonderful music and has a cast and crew of over seventy people, students from Volcano Vista, Hillerman and Tierra Antigua.
THE KING AND I will be performed this Thursday night starting at 7:00pm will continue to play on Friday night at 7:00pm and will have a matinee this Saturday at 2:00pm and the closing show will be this Saturday night at 7:00pm . Come see your classmates produce this outstanding Broadway musical.
Tickets are on sale during lunch, in the ticket booth - which is in J hall - not too far from the DECA snack bar.
Tickets are $6.00 for VVHS students, $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. - if you buy during the school day, you don't have to show ID - if you buy at the door, you will have to show ID to get the student rate. Tickets will continue to be on sale through the end of this week. We are accepting cash only.
