Listen Up, Hawks! Important information has come to the attention of the National Honor Society with regard to the food drive for the Rio Grande Food Project. We did a great job, collecting over 900 items to donate to our community. HOWEVER, some food items were overlooked in the count and the actual winner of the food drive was Ms. Leger's 4th period class. As a result of this error, both Ms. Torres and Ms. Leger's classes will receive a pizza party lunch. ALSO, it has come to the attention of the National Honor Society that a group of students on campus took it upon themselves to collect food items apart from their 4th period class. This group is the VVHS Thespians. They actually were in third place with well over 100 items donated. In recognition of their selfless service as a group, they will also be receiving a pizza lunch. Thanks to everyone who participated. As we learned through Rachel's Challenge, when every person does their part to make life better for someone else, our entire school and community is a better place!
