Students if you have not turned in your registration card for next year the deadline has past, but we still need your information. If you do not turn the registration in you will lose out on an opportunity to receive classes of your choice for next year. Please turn in the registration cards directly to your Academy Counselor no later than Thursday March 3rd.

Attention all juniors: sign up to be on Prom Court IN ACTIVITIES. You will need a 2.0 GPA and be involved in at least 2 activities on campus. Stop by the Activities Office to pick up the form. All forms are due on Monday, March 7th.
Juniors: If you did not receive the senior information card during your advisory, please stop by the activities office to fill one out. This information is to be used by Lifetouch Studios to schedule your senior portrait for the 2012 edition of the yearbook. If you want your picture to appear in the yearbook you will need to have your photo taken by our contract photographer.
CLUBS:
- GAY STRAIGHT ALLIANCE: Volcano Vista's GSA will meet today, Thursday, March 3rd, during lunch in Ms. Valdez's room, A203. All members and interested people are welcomed. Bring a friend.
- Attention all 1st period JROTC students and all bowling team members. There is a mandatory meeting at lunch today in the JROTC classroom. Please be there as soon as possible after the lunch bell.
- Attention all members of French National Honor Society there will be a meeting in Mrs. Taylor's room on Thursday at the beginning of lunch to have your picture taken for the yearbook.
- Students who have received academic letter applications need to have them turned into the front office by Friday March 4.
- Rachel's Challenge will meet Thursday at lunch in the North mezzanine of the gym.
- Congrats to those who auditioned and are modeling in the 2011 Prom Fashion show! Mandatory meetings are at lunch, this Thursday and Friday. YOU ONLY HAVE TO ATTEND ONE MEETING, whatever one works best for you. Important info will be discussed. Meeting will start promptly. The meeting is in the same room you auditioned in, F225.
ATHLETICS:
- The softball team beat Rio Grande 19-0 yesterday to start the 2011 season. Katera Eltsosie pitched a one hit game. She also hit two triples. Shaylin Brown hit a towering home run in the first at bat.
- The Girls basketball team will play Friday, March 4 VVHS @ Clovis High School, 7 PM (Girls will depart VVHS at 12:30 PM).
- The Boys basketball team plays Saturday, March 5 VVHS @ Valley High School, 7 PM.
PLEASE NOTE...The Activities Office will be closed This afternoon and all day Friday.
