Was Osama Bin Laden prepping to attack Los Angeles?

That's the word from the Pentagon as CIA officials continue to scour computers, hard drives and memos found inside the compound where Osama Bin Laden had been living.

The memos seized in Sunday's raid don't have specifics, but may have been the groundwork for a major terrorist attack on the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.

Major U.S. cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and D.C. are mentioned with plans to attack rail lines in valleys or as trains passed over bridges -- whichever could do the most damage.

In Los Angeles, the senior press secretary in the office of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa stresses that there are no specific threats to Los Angeles.

However, the Department of Homeland Security has issued warnings to federal, state and local law enforcement to be extra vigilant and cautious moving forward.

The memos also spoke of attacks on other major dates in the U.S. including the 4th of July and New Year's Eve.
