Thanks Vic!
I hate to admit it, because by doing so, I open myself up to all kinds of scrutiny, but I, for one, would love to live that near a volcano. Just to experience the rush of an eruption would be like major brownie points on the Bucket List. :-) Many times I've uttered that fateful phrase to people near me in potentially dangerous situations: Do you want to live forever? lolol

PS Sleeping atop a supervolcano (Yellowstone) was such a thrill; sleep was spare, as I laid there and figured the enormity of the caldera. Gads.

I liked your collection of eight images and that short video you found. It boggles the mind to know some live that close to an erupting volcano of that size.I wonder how they feel about pyroclastic flows coming their way instead of falling down the other side of that mountain?I could not sleep at night knowing how fast I would have to get out of there. On Sep 15, 2012, at 1:25 AM, Lin Kerns <linkerns@gmail.com> wrote:
