Boats were damaged and sunk at Coronado and Avalon harbors.
1992: A F0 tornado touched down in vineyard near Easton in Fresno County.

17" fell in in Mt. Laguna, 15" in Julian, 12" in Palomar Mountain, and up to 4" in Victorville and Warner Springs.
Highways and schools were closed in the mountains and in parts of the upper desert.
1983: Funnel cloud was sighted southeast of the Fresno Air Terminal.

The morning low at Truckee was -20°.
Carson City, NV had a morning low temperature of -18°, while the morning low at both Reno, NV and Lovelock, NV was -15°.
Tahoe City set its all-time record low with a reading of -16°.
1972: The high temperature in Victorville was 32°, the lowest high temperature on record.
This also occurred on 1.30.1957 and 12.15.1957.
1943: A big storm brought copious rain to all areas of Southern California and setting numerous daily rainfall records.
3.49" of rain fell in Riverside, the greatest daily amount on record.
1932: Greatest snow ever in December in Bakersfield from the 10th-11th.
Meadows Field measured 3.0" and 4.0" fell at the Santa Fe Rail Depot.
Porterville recorded 2.0".
Only a trace at Fresno.
1932: 1" of snow in the City of San Francisco.
1906: 24" of snow fell at Susanville, with 20" at Boca.
