1951: An afternoon thunderstorm produced a lightning display in Fresno described as "one of the most vivid electrical displays that has occurred in this area for many years".
A number of power lines, transformers and pumping motors were struck.
1909: 4" of snow fell at Glenbrook, its latest occurrence of over 1" of snowfall.
