Silver fire update *per fire inteligence - fire is 18,000 ac with a 40 % containment/ fire is holding so far on the south east side where the air craft put the retardant line in / good progress has been made in all the divisions with the fire hand crews ( tough work) / fire crews are continuing to improve and hold the fire lines/ the icp ( incident comand post ) is at the Noble Creek Communtiy Park, / the fire had very little growth today./ fire behavior was mostly creeping-some torching in the timber -and smoldering in the heavier fuels, ( brush - dry grass )etc/ trouble the ffs are having is the roll out debris, ( some times the ffs will have to deal with dead trees and logs that when the hill side is unstable can rain down on them but they are aware of this happening so they are always on the watch for something like this to happen ) ffs are concern about the possiblity of the fire spotting across the estabilished control fire lines. // planned actions- to repair the water lines and electical power lines that were damaged due to this fireand to hold and reinforce the fire line problems- Joann * thank you FFs
