well it was as this was our santa ana wind time with the fires but now it seems california has vegation and wildland fires all year around
Joann=  the sliver fire in riverside county is now about 16,000 ac about 2000 folks have been evacuated and its 25 % contained,
numberous structures and out building have been destoryed or damged

Remembering back to my 1980's smoke jumping career.It seems that the Ca
fire season did not kicked off until around mid Sept..Is that correct?
