Sequoia National Park wildfire prompts evacuations

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) --
Firefighters are on the scene of a wildfire burning inside Sequoia National Park.Officials tell Action News the fire broke out around 1:30 p.m. near the Potwisha Campground area. They say the fire has burned about 30 acres.
The following four sites have been evacuated: Potwisha Campground, Buckeye Flat Campground, Potwisha day use area and Hospital Rock day use area.
The road is closed one mile in from the park entrance at the Foothills Visitor Center. All hiking trails in the area of the fire have also been closed.
