While all the other scanner monitoring and public safety related Yahoo Groups have suffered declines or become veritable solitary ghost ships traversing the vastness of the ether of the internet filled with messages posted in 2005, California Disasters continues its presence on Yahoo Groups. That will end when something happens to me or they shut Yahoo Groups altogetheror folks leave here en mass or enough of you drift away gradually over time (the most likely scenario) that it is no longer worth my time.
The Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit versions of California Disasters continue to gain new members while this franchise in the chain continues on mostly business as usual with slight shrinkage over time.
