BSU: Black Student Union will be having their first meeting on Tuesday, August 11th during lunch in Mrs. Vasquez' classroom, H-206. All students are welcome to attend.
GSA: Gay Straight Alliance will have meetings every Monday at lunch in conference room F125. All students are welcome to attend.
DODGE BALL Reminder that the staff/student dodge ball challenge starts today at lunch. Teams and schedule are posted on the main gym doors. Games will start promptly at 12:05.
AMBASSADORS: Students that are interested in becoming a student ambassador for the upcoming school year, please fill out an application. Applications are online at the VVHS website or in 9th grade academy office – Vesuvius – A121. All ambassadors from last year DO NOT need to fill out an application.
ATHLETICS
The Metro Soccer Tournament begins today. The girls team plays at 4:15 at the soccer complex across the street. The boys play tomorrow at 4:15.
FOOTBALL: The first football game of the season is Wednesday at 7:00 at Community Stadium. We are the home team.
SOFTBALL: Attention all students interested in playing softball there will be an informational meeting at the beginning of lunch on Wednesday, August 26th in the lecture hall.
