On This Date In California Weather History....
2003: Thunderstorms hit the Cuyamaca Mountains (San Diego Co.).
Two inches of rain fell in Pine Valley in 35 minutes.
Flash flooding occurred in Pine Valley and east of Alpine.
Nickel size hail fell in Pine Valley. Strong winds at Lake
Henshaw caused major tree damage.
2000: A thunderstorm dropped 0.76 inch on Palomar Mountain, producing a mud slide which closed Highway 76.
1913: Second of three consecutive nights where Fresno recorded a record high minimum temperature.
The low temperature dropped to only 80 degrees.
