[californiadisasters] South Ops News & Notes Update (8/15/10-8AM)

8/15	0800	Scout-(Wildland fire). Tenaja rd x Forest route in Lake Elsinore, Riverside County (FRA). Fire reported at 8-10 acres in grass  and brush. Last report has the fire contained as of 1930. Day shift ground resources continuing to mop up.
8/15	0800	An off-road motor vehicle accident/MCI occurred in the Johnson Valley  area in San Bernardino County on Old Woman Springs rd (Highway 247)  x Bessemer rd. Seven fatalities and eighteen injured in the incident. Numerous ground and air ambulances responded to the incident. Accident was a result of a vehicle (off-road racing truck) that lost control and collided with a group of spectators; CHP and BLM are currently investigating.
