Hi Mark,

It's actually been wonderful. El Hierro entered its Surtseyan phase and I've received so many wishes from folks all over the world. I'm overawed by today. Even the weather cooperated and the pup and I went for a walk. Plus, I made myself a homemade pizza for dinner. No complaints whatsoever. :-)

I can't thank everyone enough for taking the time to bestow such neat wishes.

I second that in its entirety.... Lin is an integral part of this operation but usually behind the scenes other than her wonderful list-postings... and she is quite modest at all times.

Lin does a lot of the behind the scenes 'stuff' on many groups. It's behind the scene because she doesn't do it for ego like some. She tends to be a bit shy, so everyone PLEASE wish her a Happy Birthday as publically as you can. (Thanks)
