The Fashion Club is always looking for new and diverse members. We will be presenting letters and saying goodbye to our seniors today at lunch in G204; please attend and help us restructure and plan for next year.
Converge, the student-led Bible study on campus, will hold a mandatory meeting for all members in room F211 during lunch on Tuesday, May 15. We will be choosing officers for the 2012-2013 school year.Anyone who would like to be a part of this activity needs to attend and share your vision for the coming school year.

There will be a French National Honor Society meeting tomorrow (Thursday) in Mrs. Taylor's room at lunch. All members should attend. We will be celebrating the end of the year and welcoming our new members. Please bring some food to share with the group.

Summer school Registration is now open. If you need Credit Recovery you can register anytime from May 1st till the end of school. Volcano Vista will be a Summer school site. See your Academy counselor for an appointment and to register.
An updated Senior fines and fees list is posted outside of the bookroom. All fees need to be paid before you may pick up your cap and gown.

Attention bowling team members. Coach Perry requests that the team assemble immediately at the start of lunch in room E209 - Thursday May 3rd. Please have your team shirt. Coach Perry is looking to get a full team picture - a picture of State team with Third Place Trophy - and picture of Seniors. Also wishes to ensure all awards have been distributed. If you were with the team for any part of the season please attend.
Good luck to our Mock Trial team. They will be representing VV and the state of New Mexico at the National Mock Trial Competition this week.
The Senior Honors Assembly has been changed from 9 AM next Friday to 10 AM Friday May 11.
ATHLETICS
- The JV softball team played in the City Championship yesterday. They CRUSHED Cibola 15 to 0 in 4 innings. Congratulations to the JV softball team.
- Baseball will be playing Las Cruces in the first round of the playoffs here at Volcano Vista on Friday, at 4:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM.
- Girls softball will be play at 4 PM Friday afternoon.
- Good Luck to our tennis teams they will be participating in the state tournament this week.
