Congratulations to Mr. Goodfellow and our Mock Trial team for placing 7th in the nation! Great job!

SENIORS you will need to be in the gym on Thursday at noon for the Honors Assembly rehearsal.

Attention faculty, staff and students – school administrators will be coming around 5th period classes this week to honor students that received a 3.5 GPA or higher during the 5th 6 week grading period with a Certificate of Excellence.  Congratulations to all those students – close to 25% of the school population – that are receiving this honor this week. 

Attention all boys interested in playing soccer next school year, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, may 9 during lunch in A109.

Vocal Velocity Show Choir is now holding auditions for next year. There is a required choreography and vocal workshop on Wednesday and Thursday, May 9 & 10 from 2:45 to 4:00 in the Choir room. Final Auditions will be on Friday May 11. For more information see Ms. Clark in G173.

Converge, the student-led Bible study on campus, will hold a mandatory meeting for all members in room F211 during lunch on Tuesday, May 15. We will be choosing officers for the 2012-2013 school year. Anyone who would like to be a part of this activity needs to attend and share your vision for the coming school year.

Seniors please request final transcripts to be sent to university of choice no later than July 2012.  $1.00 fee per transcript request.   Don't delay your registration for next year!  Any question contact Connie Ewing in the main office.

Summer school Registration is now open.  If you need Credit Recovery you can register anytime from May 1st till the end of school.  Volcano Vista will be a Summer school site.  See your Academy counselor for an appointment and to register.

An updated senior fines and fees list is posted outside of the bookroom. All fees need to be paid before you may pick up your cap and gown.

Yearbooks are still for sale in Activities for $70.00. Autograph inserts are $1.00.

ATHLETICS

The varsity softball team won their first game in the State tournament. They beat Onate 10 to 0. Jade Gray, Katera Eltsosie and Taylor Sargent each hit a Home run andKelsey Stevens pitched a two hitter. Congratulations and Good Luck on Thursday as you take on the Cleveland Storm
