Springs Fire VNC-25314, Camarillo, Ventura County

28,000 acres 75% contained. CALFIRE IMT-5 (Smith) 
remains in Unified command Ventura County Fire Department, 
Ventura County Sheriff's Department, and National Park Service 
remain in unified command. Fire remained within the 
containment lines.
 

Gorgonio Fire, RRU-045459 Hwy 243, 1 mi. south of

City of Banning, Riverside County 510 acres 100% contained,

Significant progress was made today with favorable weather.

Additional mop-up and patrol will continue tomorrow.

 

Rock Fire LPF-1167 35 miles east of Santa Maria,

Santa Barbara County.

51 acres 100% contained

The National Weather Service San Diego issued a special weather 
statement for scattered showers and thunderstorms are 
expected each afternoon and evening through Wednesday 
over the Southern Sierra Nevada and showers with 
isolated thunderstorms. Will be possible across the 
remainder of the central California Interior Monday and Tuesday. 
The main threat from these Thunderstorms will be dangerous cloud 
to ground lightning and Strong and erratic wind gusts.
Brief heavy rain will also be Possible which could cause ponding 
of water on area roads.

The National Weather Service Oxnard has issued a wind advisory 
that remains in effect until 2000 hrs PDT this evening with winds 
out of the south 15 to 30 mph with gusts between 40 and 45 mph 
There is a chance that strong winds could persist into Monday night

Gorgonio Fire, RRU-045459 Hwy 243, 1 mi. south of City of Banning,

Riverside County Fire burned approximately 650 acres of annual Grasses

and Medium Brush and is 30% contained Fire remains active burning

with wind and topography alignment.

 

Rock Fire, LPF-1167 35 miles east of Santa Maria.

60 acres 30% contained.  Fire is has limited access by 4x4 ground resources having to hike in.

 

Springs, Fire VNC 25314, Camarillo, Ventura County. 28,000 acres, 56% contained.

 

Summit Fire RRU-44298, Banning Bench, Riverside County. Mias Canyon c/o Bluff Rd, Banning. 3,166 acres, 100% Contained
