I like Eman's reference to J. Tuzo Wilson's site. Just as an aside, I met the man once in Canada at Go Home Bay on Lake Huron where lots of the rich and famous have summer cabins and every day is beautiful. He is something of a character. I was told that he liked to sail around in the Chinese Junk he had imported from the Orient, although I never caught sight of it. It always seems appropriate to find that the great thinkers are eccentric in some way. Maybe they have to be. The ones I've met are always interesting to talk to. I think Ben's ideas have stirred up some interesting discussion.
