Interesting post... it just seems odd to me to use the word swamp in connection to a formation beneath a glacier. I still can't really picture it. The article mentioned a stream being a more efficient use of water..to me a stream flows and certainly water moves very quickly from one place to another. Being familiar with Louisiana swamps and bayous, I picture a stagnant body of water that just sits there. And this thing lubricates the bottom of the glacier? Forgive me,I just pictured the glacier smoking a cigarette. lol..Allison
