Aspen Fire CA-SNF-1732 3.5 miles south of Mammoth Pool Reservoir and 6 miles northwest of Huntington Lake, Fresno County.

4,789 acres 5% contained.

South Central Sierra Incident Management Team (Cooper) is in command of the Aspen Fire.

Fire acreage has been a combination of early stage estimations and Infrared Red interpretation. Fire activity has hindered ground GPS of the fires perimeter. Access and heavy inversions have made mapping a challenge on the Aspen incident. Suppression efforts have centered on contingency implementation. Ground resources are establishing access to the fires edge via boat on Mammoth Pool Reservoir. Air resources have been working the fires perimeter most of today's shift, fixed wing to the south and rotary wing on the north end of the fire. Smoke from the Aspen fire continues to impact the San Joaquin Valley and the local communities affecting health issues.

Silverwood Fire CA-BDF-10431

HWY 138 x Hwy 173 near Lake Silverwood, San Bernardino Co.

75 acres 100% containment. This will be the last report on this incident.

Mountain Fire CA-BDF-10080

27,531 acres 92% contained.

San Bernardino N.F. type III organization (Chris Fogle) remains in place.

Cane Fire CA-SQF-2695

20 acres 0% contained

Due to steep and extremely difficult terrain fire is staffed with aerial resources and ground personnel at a distance. No changes in conditions.
