Salmon River Complex CA-KNF-005561 California Interagency Incident Management Team 1 (McGowan) has been mobilized to the Salmon River Complex in Northern California.

Fire continues to advance towards the wilderness boundary in the east.

South Central Sierra Incident Management Team (Cooper) is in command of fire.

Fire continues to advance towards the wilderness boundary in the east.
Direct line construction and firing operations have commenced and the firing
operations will continue over the next several days with a cessation of firing
activities in 5-6 days. Closure of Stump Springs Rd and the Kaiser wilderness remain in effect.
