Power Fire CA-STF-2613
500 acres, 12% contained
Continuing dozer line tying in roads along ridge tops. Handcrews are continuing to construct line.

Falls Fire, CA-CNF-2512
1,416 acres 30% contained

Ortega Hwy (Hwy 74) remains closed. Should fire escape existing perimeters communities of Lakeland Village, Lake Elsinore, Rancho Capistrano, El Cariso Village, Morrell Canyon and Decker Canyon are threatened. Additional damage to Wildland habitat is possible should the fire escape the control lines. Rolling rocks, fire damaged guardrails and highway signs will remain a problem. Residences in Lakeland Village repopulated residences. Decker Canyon will be repopulated tonight with Caltrans starting traffic escorts at 1700 hrs. Significant progress was made constructing fire line on the South and East flanks of the fire.

Aspen Fire CA-SNF-1732
21,386 acres, 75% contained

Stump Springs Road remains closed. Trail closure in Kaiser Wilderness with public being warned of dangers hiking trails in proximity to incident. Precautionary evacuation of campgrounds and summer camp west of San Joaquin River on Forest Road 4S81. Wildland fire modules continue to monitor fire progression and check when needed. Unfavorable winds and dense smoke are making water drops unfeasible. Fire is currently within ¼ mile of San Joaquin River. Direct line continues to hold.

Falls Fire CA-CNF-002512
1,416 acres 0% contained.
Fire continues to move South and East and has established itself in the San Mateo Wilderness, but is holding at the ridge lines. The fire has potential to move further North, resulting in additional structure threat and has potential to move into Morrell and Decker Canyons. Immediate concerns involving communities of LakeLand Village, Rancho Capistrano and Decker Canyon remain under mandatory evacuation orders.
Ortega Highway (Hwy 74) is closed.
If fire spreads into the San Mateo Wilderness it will create access problems due to lack of roads available.

21,381 acres 75% contained.
Firing operations into the San Joaquin River were successful, burnout of the rivers edge will continue today. Burning continues to be very difficult due to very steep terrain with potential to spot across the San Joaquin River. Wildland fire modules will monitor fire progression.
Stump Springs Road remains closed.
Trail closure in Kaiser Wilderness with public being warned of danger within proximity of the incident. Precautionary evacuation of campgrounds and summer camp west of the San Joaquin River on Forest Road 4S81.
