RE: [californiadisasters] Strong Winds Push SoCal Wildfire East Toward Palm Springs

That is correct.  The fire is on the portion of the San Bernardino National Forest that is in Riverside County; west of Palm Springs, east of me here in Hemet.  The fire is on the northern slope of Mt San Jacinto, opposite of the Mountain fire which was on the south side.
