The page was ok in Safari on the iPad, but after open for about a minute it locked up Safari as if it was malware or really bad java script.  It locked up after I zoomed the map in quite a bit.

I recovered by closing the browser and blocking access to the Internet. Then I closed the bad tab, opened access again and things were fine.

Apple sandboxes everything preventing malware from spreading to other apps in iOS.
