I've tried it on Chrome and Firefox and my protective programs may be blocking the same thing yours did and that's why I'm not able to pan If, perchance, Java is used to manipulate the page, then that may also be the reason why it's not working. Java is so old hat now that I'm always surprised who's still using it.
Thanks, Vic!

The page was ok in Safari on the iPad, but after open for about a minute it locked up Safari as if it was malware or really bad java script. It locked up after I zoomed the map in quite a bit.I recovered by closing the browser and blocking access to the Internet. Then I closed the bad tab, opened access again and things were fine.Apple sandboxes everything preventing malware from spreading to other apps in iOS....I see Ariel Castro just got a 1000 years in prison with out parole.Icannot get this map to pan on my browser. Can anyone else here manage to do this? Thanks,
