Volcano Vista will be starting an Improv Group. Improvisational actors, comedians, story tellers, anyone interested in performing without a script - All are welcome! The first improv meeting will be Friday Nov. 8th 2:30-3:45 Come on by to participate or watch. It will be in H-115 - Mr. Zimmerman's room.
Seniors! You will receive your diploma information card in your English class. All seniors must fill this out by Friday October 25th. Please make sure to write your legal name. This could jeopardize your scholarship, grants, or loans if different. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Ewing in the main office.
Seniors it is time to nominate a class song, motto and flower for your graduation announcements. Stop by Activities today during lunch and fill out a nomination form. You will be voting on this during advisory on Tuesday, November 5th.
BOWLING STUDENTS!!!! - This is it - need your registration form turned in by Tuesday's practice if you wish to join. We are only 2 weeks away from our first tournament. There is still plenty of room on the team. It is estimated that 400 million bowlers compete worldwide - it must be a little fun. Team bowling shirt orders go in Tuesday night.
STUDENT AMBASSADORS FROM MRS JONES AND MRS WELLS FAMILY GROUP: We will be meeting with the Fashion Club on Wednesday, Oct 30 for lunch in Room E203. We will be planning our January Mixer Day. This is our last meeting before the two-day on-campus training. We hope to see everyone there.
ATHLETICS:
- Boys Basketball tryouts are Monday, Nov. 4 and Tuesday Nov. 5th from 6-8pm. A completed physical is required in order to tryout. See Coach Cuevas in room A 114 for questions.
- Cross Country competes at their District Meet at Cleveland on Friday
- Football plays at Cleveland this Friday
- Volleyball plays Cibola tonight at 6:30 and Cleveland Thursday at home.
- Golf: Boys took 2nd at ADO invite.
