1966: It was 101° in Santa Ana and 100° in LA and 98° in Paso Robles, each the highest November temperature on record.
It was also 101° at the LA airport and 97° in San Diego.
Santa Ana winds fanned fires.
1966: Downtown San Francisco had a high temperature of 86° -- a record for the month.
1962: It was 102° in Palm Springs, the highest temperature on record for November.
1954: It was 82° in Palomar Mountain, the highest temperature on record for November.
1935: A cold start: five of the first six days this November had lows of 32° or lower in Bakersfield.
The low on this date was 32°.
1927: It rained 2.9" in Santa Ana, the greatest daily amount on record for November.
