Día De Los Muertos is a time for family and friends to honor and remember those who have deceased. It is celebrated in many Latin American countries on November 1 and 2 and is a day of celebration, not sadness. Today in recognition of Día de los Muertos, members of the Art Club and Spanish Club will have their faces painted with traditional skeleton designs as is tradition in many countries. An ofrenda, or an altar, honoring the deceased has also been set up in the library for students to view.
