More than 4" fell in Imperial Beach in 24 hours and 3.71" in 8 hrs.

Standing water was five feet deep in some intersections.
Some homes were flooded with 3-6 feet of water.

1956: The morning low at Reno was -9°.
1953: It was 79° in Idyllwild, the highest temperature on record for February.
1904: San Jose recorded a low temperature of 24°.
1873: A snowstorm that started on 1.30 and ended on 2.3 piled up 44" at Grass Valley – Lake Arrowhead.
On this day 30" of snow fell.
