That would be most interesting if they
did.  However, I'd be concerned
if it did open and there was a big storm, people could be
stranded in places
they wouldn't have normally been at if the
road remained
closed.    The pass itself is at nearly 10,000 feet.  
When it snows, it can REALLY snow.
