Winterball tickets are on sale today for $20.00 in the Activities Office during lunch.. You must have your current student ID to purchase a ticket. If you are bringing a guest that does not attend Volcano Vista please have the completed permission slip with you when you purchase your tickets. Each student is limited to one ticket and one guest. $1.00 of each ticket will go to Make-a-Wish.
Buy a Make-a-Wish star from any senate member or from the activities office.
If you received a yellow academic letter application, it needs to be turned into the 9th grade academy office by Monday Feb. 10th

COUNSELING:
Attention eCADEMY Students: The last day for students to turn in assignments for the winter trimester is Feb. 16 by midnight. Final exams will be : Feb. 19 for Social Studies/English/PE/Electives and Feb. 20 for Math/Science/Health
Students this is a reminder that your Registration Cards for the 2014-15 school year are due February 5th and 6th. Freshman turn in your cards to your Health/IMPAC teachers, Sophomores turn in your cards to your English 10 teachers, and Juniors turn in your cards to your U.S. History Teachers. Special Education Cards are to be returned to Case Managers. If cards are not turned in promptly on these dates you may lose out on your primary course choices, do not wait.

Swim : Swim meet this Saturday at Rio Rancho Aquatic Center.
Wrestling has a meet Saturday vs. Hobbs at AHA.
Pre-season track practice will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week for an hour after school. The season officially kicks off next week on Monday the 10th at 2:40 sharp. Make sure you have a physical on file with the school. Also, listen to the announcements later in the week for important track spirit pack order information. We look forward to seeing you all out there!
Tryouts for the GIRL'S VARSITY TENNIS team will begin Monday, Feb. 10 at the Sierra Vista Courts. Tryouts will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week from 3:30 to 5 p.m.. You must have a current physical form in order to try out. If you have any questions about tennis, please see Coach St. John. If you want to try out for Hawks Varsity Tennis Team… make sure you stop by Coach St. John's room in A217 if you are interested. Girls and boys tryouts are next week. Make sure you have your physical completed and turned in.
