Location: Rock Creek Camp Ground- Madera County

Central Sierra (Cooper's) Type 2 IMT team in command
13,803 acres, 60% contained. 
Interior of the fire continues to burn out in the southern portion.
Direct fire line was completed from Chiquito Creek towards the west.
Commitment of Forest Service air and ground resources.

 

Dark Hole Fire, CA-YNP-0057, Yosemite National Park, Mariposa Co.

Location Yosemite Creek south of Tioga Rd, 1.5 miles south of Yosemite Creek CG

Incident has been turned back to the Yosemite National Park and a Type 3 incident organization
770 acres, 61% contained.
Minimal fire movement is expected.
Continue trail and containment line preparation for potential future firing operation.

SoCal Type 2 IMT Garwood is prepositioned at McClellan and has regional rotation for 2hr call.

The fire has been backing on the east flank towards the San Joaquin River
Fire was activity to the west advancing towards Shuteye pass.
This movement is expected to increase as the fire moves into denser fuels and lower humidity return.

Commitment of Forest Service air and ground resources.

Location Yosemite Creek south of Tioga Rd, 1.5 miles south of Yosemite

El Portal Fire, CA-YNP-0083 Yosemite National Park, Mariposa Co.

Location: Near Highway 140 and community of El Portal, CA

FRA
Incident has transferred back to type 3 organization (Stanislaus N.F)
4,689 Acres, 100% contained.
The El Portal Fire was fully contained yesterday. 
This will be the last report on this incident.
