Calling all poets, musicians, and performers: Open Mic Night is returning as soon as we return from Winter Break! Our next date is Friday, January 9th, so we will begin performance sign-ups this week outside H219. Remember to see Mrs. Rizzardi with your $1 performance fee.
Seniors: It is time to nominate your peers for Senior Superlatives. Pick up a nomination form from the activities office. All nomination forms are due by Friday.
Best Buddies will meet on Friday during lunch.
VOLLEYBALL: reminder that the staff student volleyball challenge starts today at lunch. The schedule is posted on the main gym door. Games start at 11:10 sharp.
JUNIORS: If you took the PSAT test last October, you may pick up your results from Mrs. Sandy in the Health Academy Office on either Wednesday or Thursday. Results will be available from 6:45 to 7:25 am and at lunch on both days. Sophomores will receive their results in their English class.
The Army National Guard will have a representative available during lunch on Tuesday January 13th for anyone interested. The rep will be in the lower E-F Concourse area during lunch.
The E-Cademy Spring 2015 registration opens January 5th for all students. Please make an appointment with your Academy Counselor to register if you need to recover credit. The registration fee is $25 cash or money order to be paid to your academy Counselor when you register. The registration period is open until January 14th, 2015, don't miss out if credit recovery is needed.:
ATHLETICS:
The first round of the APS Metro Tournament is tonight. Both the girls and boys teams are 7 & 2.
Girls Basketball will play at West Mesa tonight at 5:15pm.
Boys Basketball will play at 7 at Valley. Go out and support the Hawks!
Wrestling has a meet against Cibola on Wednesday at 7.
Swimming has a meet on Saturday beginning at 8:30 at West Mesa pool.
