07/31/2015 - 7:30 p.m.    CA-MDF Frog Fire: 1,000 acres, 10% contained. COTP power lines threatened. Thunderstorms in the fire area today caused extreme fire behavior.

CA-SHF River Complex: 500 - 800 acres, 0% contained. Evacuations in place for Denny. Numerous fires spread over the New River drainage.

CA-SHF Fork Complex: 2,000 acres, 0% contained. Evacuations in place for outlying areas of Hyampom. Evacuations in place for portions of Hayfork. Extreme fire behavior, with crown runs. Complex consists of numerous fires near Hayfork, Hyampom and Harrison Gulch areas.

CA-HUU Humboldt Lighting Complex: 200 acres, 20% contained. Fires are located near Bridgeville, Alderpoint and Zenia. Type 3 organization in place.

CA-SRF Mad River Complex: 400 acres, 0% contained. Type 2 team has been ordered.

CA-LNU Rocky Fire: 18,000 acres, 5% contained. East winds led to extreme fire behavior compromising control lines on the west side of the fire.

CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 400 acres, 80% contained.

CA-NEU Lowell Fire: 2,303 acres, 75% contained.

CA-LNU Wragg Fire: 8,051 acres, 92% contained.

CA-SHU China Fire: 212 acres, 85% contained.

07/31/2015     6:00 p.m.      National Weather Service Medford - the Red Flag Warning remains in effect for Siskiyou county until 2300 hours this evening. In addition, a Red Flag Warning has been issued for Saturday from 1400 hours until 2300 hours for scattered thunderstorms. CA-SHF Fork Complex: 250 acres, 0% contained. Evacuations in place for structures west of Hyampom. Burning the footprint of the 2008 Lime Fire.

CA-SHF River Complex: 500 acres, 0% contained, burning in the New River drainage. Limited access. Advisory evacuations in place for the area around Denny. Burning in the footprint of the 1999 Megram and 2008 Ironside fires.

CA-SRF Mad River Complex: 100 acres, 0% contained, burning near the Ruth Lake area. The complex consists of 10 fires. A Type 2 team has been ordered.

CA-MNF Estel Fire: 45 acres, 0% contained. Burning in timber and brush in the Yuki Wilderness. The Forest has 8 other fires reported.

CA IMT1 Team 3 (Vontillow) has been assigned to the CA-SHF River Complex. The River Complex is located in the New River drainage, near Denny, in Trinity county.

NorCal IMT2 (Young) has been assigned to the CA-SHF Fork Complex. The Fork Complex is located in the general area of Hayfork, in Trinity county.

NorCal IMT2 (Kurth) has been assigned to the CA-MDF Frog Fire. The fire is located near Tionesta, in Modoc county.

CA-LNU Rocky Fire: 15,000 acres, 5% contained. Significant fire growth and movement to the northeast, east and south. Evacuations have been initiated for the Jerusalem Creek area. Steep and rugged terrain with limited ground access. Significant fire activity expected today.

CA-SHU China Fire: 212 acres, 80% contained. Structure threat has been mitigated. All evacuations have been lifted. Mop up and patrol continues.

CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 400 acres, 60% contained. Mop up and patrol continues. Demob of excess personnel and equipment is under way.

CA-NEU Lowell Fire: 2,303 acres, 75% contained. The fire continues to smolder and back into small interior islands.

CA-LNU Wragg Fire: 8,051 acres, 87% contained. All evacuations have been lifted. Soft road closure on Mix Canyon Road due to equipment access needs. Mop up continues. Acreage increase due to more accurate mapping.

CA-SHU Sprig Fire: 90 acres, 90% contained.

CA-SHU Mallard Fire: 75 acres, 95% contained.

CA-HUU Queen Fire: 158 acres, 85% contained. Smoldering fire behavior. Mop up in heavy fuels continues.

CA-SHU China Fire: 212 acres, 75% contained.

CA-SHU Mallard Fire: 75 acres, 92% contained. A 3 acre spot fire was contained today.

CA-LNU Rocky Fire: 10,200 acres, 5% contained. Evacuations north of Morgan Valley Road remain in place.

CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 400 acres, 60% contained. Two residential structures and 14 out building were destroyed during the onset of the fire. Mop up of heavy fuels continues.

CA-LNU Wragg Fire: 7,900 acres, 85% contained. All evacuations have been lifted.

07/30/2015 - 7:45 a.m.           CA-SHU China Fire: 150 acres, 60% contained. Two residences destroyed and two residences damaged. Structure threat continues.

Mallard Fire: 75 acres, 90% contained. Structure threat mitigated.

CA-LNU Rocky Fire: 8,000 acres, 0% contained. Fire made significant runs throughout the night. Evacuations in effect for the area of Morgan Valley Road. CALFIRE IMT Team 2 will assume command of the fire at 1800 hours tonight.

CA-NEU Lowell Fire: 2,303 acres, 60% contained. Creeping and smoldering fire behavior. Evacuation advisories remain in effect. Road closures remain in effect.

CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 550 acres, 45% contained. Fire spread continues to move to the north to Swedes Flat Road and east toward Stony Oaks Loop. Structure threat remains.

CA-LNU Wragg Fire: 7,500 acres, 80% contained. Active fire behavior with isolated torching. Mandatory evacuations remain in place. Mix Canyon Road is closed. Lake Solano campground is closed.

CA-HUU Queen Fire: 158 acres, 75% contained. Smoldering fire behavior.

07/29/2015 - 7:00 p.m.          CA-LNU Rocky Fire: 1,000 acres, 0% contained. Continued threat to the Cache Creek Wilderness. The fire has merged with the previously reported CA-LNU Branch 1 fire. CalFire IMT Team 2 (Lindgren) has been activated for the fire.

CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 500 acres, 10% contained. The two spot fires remain well established. Structure threat continues.

CA-SHU Mallard Fire: 80 acres, 0% contained. Burning in grass and oak woodland. Critical rate of spread. Structure fire into the wildland. Fire is located near Millville in Shasta county.

CA-LNU Wragg Fire: 7,500 acres, 80% contained. Fire remained active throughout the day due to high temperatures and low humidity.

CA-HUU Queen Fire: 158 acres, 75% contained. Minimal fire behavior with creeping and smoldering.

CA-NEU Lowell Fire: 2,303 acres, 50% contained. Moderate fire behavior with creeping inside areas of unburned fuels within the control lines.

CA-NEU Lowell fire: 2,303 acres, 45% contained. Fire behavior was moderate with poor overnight humidty recovery. Evacuation warnings and advisories remain in effect.

CA- HUU Queen fire: 158 acres, 60% contained. Threat to natural resources has decreased due to improved containment and mop up.

CA- LNU Wragg fire: 7,100 acres, 80% contained. Mandatory evacuations remain in effect for the Mix Canyon, Sky Ranch Road, Wild Horse Canyon Road and Blue Ridge Road areas.

CA- LNU Wragg fire: 6,991 acres, 80% contained. Fire activity increased on the south portion of the fire, outside of initial containment lines. The fire remains within the originial control objectives.

CA-SCU Windemere fire: 253 acres, 100% contained.

CA-NEU Locust fire: 430 acres, 100% contained.

CA-NEU Lowell fire: 2,233 acres, 30% contained. The fire was active through the night with multiple uphill runs, group torching and short crown runs. Poor humidity recovery, moderate winds contributed to increased fire behavior overnight.

CA-HUU Queen fire: 200 acres, 42% contained. Continued mop-up in heavy fuels and logging slash.

CA-LNU Wragg fire: 6,591 acres, 80% contained. Continued mop-up and fire line suppression repair.
