CA-SHF Fork Complex: 25,313 acres, 5% contained. CA IMT1 Team 4 (Opliger) assumed command at 0600 today. Fire is in Unified Command with CAL FIRE (McCain). Fires remained active well into last night's operational shift. Mandatory evacuations remain in place. NorCal IMT2 (Young) assumed command of the South Complex at 0600 today. The South Complex will include fires previously in the Fork Complex along with other fires previously in command by a Type 3 IC organization.
CA-LNU Rocky Fire: 60,000 acres, 12% contained. Extreme fire behavior continued well outside normal peak burning periods. Highway 20 and Higway 16 remained closed due to fire activity. Mandatory evacuations and advisory evacuations remain in place.
CA-SRF Mad River Complex: 13,127 acres, 5% contained. Active fire behavior with short range spotting. Threat to structures, power plant and distribution lines, Pickett Peak repeater and cell towers. Evacuations are in place for the Mad River and Ruth Lake area. Two structures have been destroyed.
CA-HUU Humboldt Lighting Complex: 2,692 acres, 15% contained. Six fires remain uncontained. Concern remains that additional new fires will be detected today. Evacuation advisory remains in place for the community of Blocksburg.
CA-SHF River Complex: 3,745 acres, 0% contained. Fires remain active through 0100 hours. Rolling debris continues to impact access on the Denny Road. Evacuations remain in place for the Hoboken, Dailey, Denny and scattered residences on the Denny Road.
CA-MDF Frog Fire: 4,213 acres, 20% contained. Main fire spread is to the north and east in pockets of heavy fuels. High humidity and cloud cover has moderated fire behavior. COTP power lines and natural gas lines are threatened.
CA-NEU Lowell Fire: 2,304 acres, 85% contained. Transition to local unit planned for today.
CA-LNU Wragg Fire: 8,051 acres, 95% contained. Transition to local unit planned for today.
CA-SHF Water Fire: 30 acres, 20% contained. Difficult access due to lava fields. Threat to COTP power lines and natural gas lines remains.
CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 400 acres, 90% contained. Suppression repair continues. Fire has transitioned to a Type 3 IC organization.

CA-SHF Fork Complex: 23,729 acres, 5% contained. Fire is in Unified Command with CALFIRE. CA IMT Team 4 (Opliger) in briefed today and will assume command on 8/3 at 0600. NorCal IMT2 (Young) will assume command of the newly created South Complex on 8/3. Multiple structures remain threatened in the Hayfork, Hyampom and Post Mountain community areas.
CA-LNU Rocky Fire: 54,000 acres, 5% contained. Mandatory evacuations and advisory evacuations remain in place. Plume dominated fire behavior has been consistent the past several burning periods.
CA-SRF Mad River Complex: 13,127 acres, 5% contained. Evacuations are in place for the Mad River and Ruth Lake area. Two structures have been destroyed. Active fire behavior with short range spotting.
CA-HUU Humboldt Lighting Complex: 2,038 acres, 10% contained. Two new fires reported today, with one fire over 100 acres. Evacuation advisory remains in place for the community of Blocksburg.
CA-SHF River Complex: 3,182 acres, 0% contained. Evacuations remain in place for the Hoboken, Dailey, Denny and scattered residences on the Denny Road. Fires have merged and 8 fires are now being reported.
CA-MDF Frog Fire: 3,900 acres, 20% contained. COTP power lines and natural gas lines are threatened. Fire behavior moderated due to cloud cover and higher humidity.
CA-NEU Lowell Fire: 2,304 acres, 85% contained. Transition to local unit planned for 8/3
